The March Forecast

March is here, and with it comes a season of change—quite literally for us! This month is all about fresh starts, big moves (in more ways than one), and embracing the energy that spring brings. We’re settling into a new home, diving into exciting projects, and making room for more time outside as Charleston comes alive with events and warmer weather. From what I’m wearing to what’s catching my eye, here’s a look at what’s shaping the month ahead.
What We’re Doing
- The biggest news of the month—we’re moving! March will be all about packing, unpacking, and making our new house feel like home.
- Creating a wave of new video content for Trade Offs, our Substack. If you’re not subscribed yet, now’s the time to join!
- Charleston comes alive in the spring, and our weekends are booked with family outings and events. It’s truly one of the best times of year to be here.
- Spring break looks a little different this year—no travel for us as we settle into the house, but we’re making up for it with a Barbados getaway next month with friends.
- Prepping for a major summer collaboration (part two!) with a shoot coming up. It’s so good—I can’t wait to share.
- Adding more weight training into my workouts, committing to 2-3 sessions a week. Thomas wrote about my approach on Substack if you’re curious!
- With a new home comes new garden plans. A trip to Hyams nursery is high on the list to bring some life to the space.
What I’m Wearing
What I’m Buying
- I recently started trying some of the Kroma Health products, and love their matcha. It’s similar to the one I drink from a local brand that blends ginger with the matcha, but I love that the Kroma one has no added sweetness.
- This set makes me crave sunshine: (top & pants).
- This Prada bag has been sitting in my cart for a while, and I finally took the plunge.
- I think this Turquoise sheath dress is effortlessly chic.
- Thong sandals seem to be the IT shoe for summer. I am pre-ordering these.
- I got this tablecloth and the matching napkins from the new Cabana Magazine collection. It’s stunning and I’m planning to set my Easter table with it.
- Cadets has the cutest spring collection, and I got something for everyone in our whole fam. I got this skirt for myself, this dress for my girls, and these swim trunks for Thomas (in the rum punch plaid).
What I’m Eyeing
- This Marissa Klass necklace—a true one-of-a-kind. Her pieces have an artistry that feels both rare and unforgettable.
- Lingua Franca’s new spring collection is full of energy and charm. I’m all in—especially for this top and this skirt.
- This list of the best boutique hotels in Paris is definitely worth bookmarking.
- My friend Cristina creates the most beautiful hand-painted hairbrushes—like this Easter bunny design. Such a perfect little gift for any basket!
- The Bottega Veneta Hop bag—one of my favorite styles—gets an unexpected twist with woven leather and raffia. The texture is next-level, and now it’s at the top of my wishlist.
- The new Simon Miller collection is a fun take on spring. It’s filled with raffia in every shape and form – I’ve got my eye on this fish clutch, this mini dress and this shell bag.
- This Dries Van Noten coverup is coming with me to Barbados—bold, effortless, and just right for the trip.
- Dreaming of a getaway to Summer Thorton’s Casa Rosada—where every corner feels like a work of art.
