Golden Girls Reboot Rumors Prove It's An Awful Idea

Perhaps one of the best reasons we don’t need a Golden Girls reboot is because there already is one, in the form of Hot in Cleveland, a sitcom that ran from 2010 to 2015. While it’s not an official reboot, the series is about three middle-aged women who decide to stay in Cleveland after getting stranded there accidentally because of a storm and realizing they can be considered “hot” by Cleveland standards.
The older cast member, Elka Ostrovsky, is played by the late, great, Betty White, and she is a firecracker of an older lady and the caretaker of the home that Melanie Moretti (Valerie Bertinelli), Joy Scroggs (Jen Leeves), and Victoria Chase (Wendie Malick) move into. Does any of this sound a little familiar?
