Diddy Accuses The Government Of Tampering With Case

According to Diddy’s defense team, the footage was only leaked to CNN for a singular purpose. The federal government worked to “mortally wound the reputation and the prospect of Sean Combs successfully defending himself against these allegations.” Diddy’s lawyers state that the prosecution could have used the tape in a trial setting, alongside “other evidence that gives it context and meaning.” They are infuriated that the government instead used the tape’s contents in what they are referring to as both prejudicial and damaging.

The legal team is lead by attorneys Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, who will be presenting their arguments to Judge Arun Subramanian. They are seeking four forms of relief, each one related to the aforementioned leaked video.
