Whenever I pack for a trip, my accessories get their own system. I sort them into pouches that double as clutches once I arrive, and they are the first things I lay out in the room, before the dresses are hung or the shoes find their corner. A printed scarf. One of my favorite parts of traveling is discovering new restaurants. Not just for the food, but for the way the room comes together through color, table settings, and the menus. Before we head to a reservation, I almost always look up the restaurant first, partly to get excited, but also so I have a sense of the vibe I want to dress for.
